Mexican-born, temporarily Texas-raised, and now Berlin-based, I'm a Business English teacher, crafting enthusiast, and lover of all things that spark creativity in the classroom, the kitchen, or my craft room. Growing up bilingual meant navigating two languages and cultures. Not content with that, I dove into learning German as an adult! What was I thinking? I wasn’t. I was in love. This means that I have a unique perspective into language learning's complexities and joys.
I'm a huge believer in the power of educational technology, and I love implementing these tools into my curriculum to create impactful learning experiences. My background in language studies and educational technology is now intersecting with my growing passion for AI. I'm actively exploring how these tools can transform language learning, developing AI-assisted exercises and personalized learning materials that make classes more dynamic and responsive.
Why “Mariana’s Learning Space”?
This space is my personal canvas for sharing growth across everything that fascinates me: from educational technology to language learning. My motto, “Where growth is shared”, reflects my belief that learning is most powerful when it's collaborative and transparent.
Whether you're an experienced language instructor looking for fresh ideas, a workshop facilitator seeking new approaches, or an educator interested in the intersection of language, business, and technology, or simply someone who appreciates a good story, explore the resources on this website and let's connect!
And in case you needed a reminder, I am a real person. You would be connecting with a real person.
